Client Reviews

“After buying our forever home, I wanted to make sure the spaces and furniture all worked together. I wanted to make a relaxing and comfortable area, but still functional with a young family, within the style of our new home. Louise was extremely knowledgeable, lovely and a pleasure to work with. The fact she comes to you is amazing.

I am in love with my our new furniture and the extra special touches she chose to finish everything.”

“With a looming renovation I felt overwhelmed with the prospect of designing and purchasing items for our hallway and open plan living /dining areas.

I wanted the areas to be cohesive and sophisticated & in keeping with the heritage style of the house.

Initially I was hesitant to engage an Interior Decorator based on a pre conceived idea of the cost/value but I can honestly say this was money well spent. We would not have had the same result with out her.

Louise was truly amazing - from start to finish. She guided us through the whole design process to ensure our home was just as beautiful as we imagined it would be.

“Renovation and styling made easy! Louise made the whole experience simple and fun. She transformed my tired 26 year old house to a cohesive, relaxed, modern & cozy environment.

Louise was terrific in project managing the renovation work, & dealing with any issues that arose.

The styling was well thought out and creative, I was thrilled to see how Louise weaved her styling magic with my own items to incorporate a very contemporary look.”

Past Projects

Soft, tonal and timeless — this Aspendale renovation transforms a once-bland house into a quietly captivating home. Natural warm tones are layered against crisp whites to create a restrained palette that feels both fresh and enduring.

The brief was a day-spa atmosphere: soft timber grains, tactile accents and thoughtful textures deliver that calm, restorative quality throughout. Linen-like fabrics, honed stone surfaces and matt-finish joinery invite touch; subtle variation in materiality keeps each space interesting without ever feeling busy.

Details were considered with care. Quality finishes and a carefully curated mix of hardware elevate the everyday, giving rooms a bespoke, lived-in elegance. Fixtures are restrained but purposeful, complementing the palette rather than competing with it.

The result is a home that reads as serene and sophisticated — modern yet timeless, warm yet crisp. Working with these clients was a genuine pleasure; their vision and collaborative spirit helped shape a refined, enduring outcome.

Past Projects

These clients moved from their Mt Eliza family home to a striking beach side apartment and asked me to create a fresh, homely yet stylish scheme—furniture, art and soft décor—that feels relatedly coastal without being beachy. The brief: warmth, refinement and ease.

I used a restrained palette of earthy neutrals, warm tones, and muted greens, layered with textures—Boucle, linen & wool throws . Clean-curved sofa a sculptural coffee table and brass details add sophistication. Artwork—abstract, and soft landscapes in matte frames—suggests horizon and light without literal seaside motifs. Cushions, rugs, ceramics greenery add pattern, tactility and organic warmth. Soft, dimmable sculptural lighting creates an inviting atmosphere day to night.

The result is a cohesive, relaxed yet refined apartment: coastal in spirit, never kitsch. The clients loved it.
